Mixolydia

Mixolydia, the name of the harp, refers to the mixolydian scale that has always been my favourite. The shape of the instrument resembles a design similar to the letters used in medieval times, a time in which mixolydian tones were often heard. The instrument has been pre-designed in a 3D environment (Cinema 4D) in which I could finetune its irregular shape. Afterwards, it was c&c’d out of a piece of wood, of which the scent closely resembled that of horse manure. Afterwards, it was that particular scent that made me decide to make this video.
